Game Requirements

1: 4 stage Multicache - Find - 2 Points + (Difficulty * Terrain)
A 4 stage multicache is defined as having a minimum of four stages. i.e. A first stage where you collect information or find a cache container which will lead you to a second stage, a second stage where you collect information or find a cache container which will lead you to a third stage, a third stage where you collect information or find a cache container which will lead you to a fourth stage and a fourth stage which is the cache containing the log book. Multicaches which have more than four stages are also eligible to claim this requirement.

2: River Deep - Find - 2 Points + (Difficulty * Terrain)
Log a physical cache that has a clear and distinct reference to a waterway in the cache name. Just because the cache is placed along side a river does not mean it is eligible. The name of the cache must contain the reference. e.g.. River Bend, Along the Creek, Waterways of ..., The Mighty Murray, etc.

3: Mystery / Puzzle / Unknown Cache - Find - 1 Point + (Difficulty * Terrain)
Log any Mystery / Puzzle / Unknown cache to claim this requirement.

4: Geocaching Australia Locationless Cache - Find - 6 Points Outright
Log any Geocaching Australia Locationless cache which you can relate to the theme of the game to claim this requirement. A Geocaching Australia Locationless has a waypoint that starts with GA and is only found on Geocaching Australia. It might be a "Woop! We Found It" on top of a mountain. It could be a "Things of stone and wood". It could be a "Nude Up for a Smiley!" in a river. You could become a member of "The Toppers Club". You could claim "The Bonza Aussie Scavenger Hunt" or "Eye Spy". As long as the way you claim the locationless cache relates to Fire, Earth, Wind or Water, you will be good to go. You must abide by the requirements of the cache to claim this requirement. A 2nd find or additional find logged as a note against this cache can be claimed for this game if you have previously found that cache.

5: Mountain High - 2 Points + (Difficulty * Terrain)
Log a physical cache that is placed 400 meters or more above sea level. If you have no cache placed 400m or more above sea level within 100km of your home then log the highest elevation physical cache within 100km of your home base that you have not previously found. If the height of the cache is not self-evident or clearly marked on an easily accessible map, you will need to take a picture of your GPSr showing the height above sea level at the cache site, and post it to the cache page in your log in order to claim this requirement. Avoid spoilers in your photo.

6: Bowels of the Earth - 2 Points + (Difficulty * Terrain)
Find a physical cache that is placed 1 meter or less above sea level or is hidden in a cave. If the height of the cache is not self-evident or clearly marked on an easily accessible map, you will need to take a picture of your GPSr showing the height above sea level at the cache site, and post it to the cache page in you log in order to claim this requirement. Avoid spoilers in your photo. A cave is a natural feature that can be entered by human beings and which is totally dark at some point along their lengths. Human made features such as tunnels or culverts are not considered caves for the purpose of this requirement.

7: Traditional Cache - Find - 1 Point + (Difficulty * Terrain)
Log any Traditional cache to claim this requirement.

8: Dog Friendly Cache - Find - 1 Point + (Difficulty * Terrain)
Log any physical cache that displays a dog friendly icon on the cache page to claim this requirement. If the dog friendly icon is not present when your log is verified then you log will not be honoured. The icon need not be part of the geocaching.com attributes list. Dog friendly icons anywhere on the cache page are acceptable.

9: Wheelchair Accessible Cache - Find - 1 Point + (Difficulty * Terrain)
Log any physical cache that displays an wheelchair accessible icon on the cache page to claim this requirement. If the wheelchair accessible icon is not present when your log is verified then you log will not be honoured. The icon need not be part of the geocaching.com attributes list. Wheelchair accessible icons anywhere on the cache page are acceptable.

10: Cache where Difficulty plus Terrain add to 7 or 7.5 - Find - 2 Points + (Difficulty * Terrain)
Log any physical cache where the sum of the terrain and difficulty add to 7 or 7.5 to claim this requirement. 6 shall not be the number of counting, nor shall 8. 7 or 7.5 is the number and the number shall be 7 or 7.5. 9 and 10 are right out. For example, a difficulty 3 and terrain 4 will qualify. A difficulty of 3.5 and a terrain of 4 also qualifies. A difficulty of 5 and a terrain of 2 also qualifies as does a difficulty 2.5 and terrain 5. A difficulty of 4 and a terrain of 4 does not qualify as it add up to more than 7.

11: Across the Lands - Find (and post photograph to cache page) - 2 Points + (Difficulty * Terrain)
Log any physical cache that provides a view across the lands surrounding the cache, take a photo of that view and post your photo. Your photo must be logged on the cache page at geocaching.com or included in your log at Geocaching Australia.

12: Mountain Cache - 2 Points + (Difficulty * Terrain)
Log any physical cache that has a clear and distinct reference to a mountain or hill in the cache name. Just because the cache is placed on the side of a mountain or hill does not mean it is eligible. The name of the cache must contain the reference. e.g.. Mount Dandenong, Fitzgerald Hill, Mountain of Doom, etc.

13: Forest or Bush - Find - 1 Point + (Difficulty * Terrain)
Log any physical cache that makes reference to forest or bush in the cache description.

14: Cache with a View - Find - 1 Point + (Difficulty * Terrain)
Log any physical cache that has the word view in the title to claim this requirement.

15: Take a Stroll - Find - 2 Points + (Difficulty * Terrain)
Log any physical cache where you are required to walk 2 kilometers or more, round trip, to claim this requirement. You must walk to the cache location from the place you left your mode of transport (car, truck, motor cycle, humvee, helicopter, bicycle, etc). The cache may be a traditional cache or a multi cache that requires you to walk from point gathering clues as long as the overall walk is 2 kilometers or more. The cache description should mention the length of the walk required, or you should provide some other proof, such as parking coordinates or track log.

16: Series Cache - Find - 1 Point + (Difficulty * Terrain)
Log any physical cache that is part of a series of at least 5 caches to claim this requirement. The series must be clearly stated in either the title or cache description. A series cache is a series of caches related by theme or as part of a puzzle and must have been clearly placed as part of a series. The series can not be incidental, i.e., a random collection of postal caches all placed by the same cacher is not a series.

17: Water Cache - Find - 2 Points + (Difficulty * Terrain)
Log any physical cache that requires the use of boat, canoe or a better than 80% chance of you getting significantly wet. The cache description must clearly state that some type of water craft is required to get to the cache or that if you approach on foot there is a good chance you will get very wet. Cache descriptions that warn of high tides are acceptable. We would like to see you get wet. That is the point really. Yes, we are evil. Drowning is not recommended.

18: Native Animal or Plant Related Cache - Find - 1 Point + (Difficulty * Terrain)
Log any physical cache that is directly related to a native animal or native plant or has the name of a native plant or animal in the title. To claim this requirement, the name of a native animal or native plant must appear in the title or description.

19: Move a Geocoin - 1 Point + (Difficulty * Terrain)
Move a geocoin from any cache to any other cache to claim this requirement. A travel bug is not a geocoin. When logging your requirement, please use the cache details for the cache you moved the Geocoin into. You may place a coin your already have in your possession, a new coin or a coin from a cache you have already found, but the cache you place the coin into must be a cache you have not previously found and do not own.

20: Move or Hide a new Geocaching Australia Swaggie - 1 Point + (Difficulty * Terrain)
Move a swaggie or hide a new physical Geocaching Australia swaggie to claim this requirement. A swaggie is a uniquely Geocaching Australia traveler. More information about swaggies can be found here. You may move a swaggie from a cache you have already found, but the cache you move the swaggie into must be a cache you have not previously found and you do not own. If you are hiding a new swaggie, the cache you release the swaggie into must be a cache you have not previously found and you do not own.

21: Cache At Sunset / Sunrise - Find - 2 Points + (Difficulty * Terrain)
Log any physical cache that you find at sunrise or sunset. As a fire theme, catch the fire in the sky by posting a picture of the sunset or sunrise at the cache location. Avoid spoilers in your pictures.

22: Make a new Mate - Find - 2 Points + (Difficulty * Terrain)
Log any physical cache with a fellow geocacher you have never cached with before to claim this requirement. A fellow geocacher is someone who has a registered geocaching identity either on geocaching.com or Geocaching Australia and that identity was registered prior to the commencement of the game. Your logs must indicate that you were caching with your new mate and both of your logs must be entered on the same day on the same cache. Your new mate must be someone you have never been on a planned geocache hunt with before. If you have met someone co-incidentally at a cache location in the past, they are still eligible to be your new mate. If you have only ever met your new mate at a geocaching event, they are eligible to be your new mate, but you cannot claim a cache that you both find on the day of an event. If you have previously been to an event and you found another cache on the same day, they are still eligible to be your new mate. Neither of you can have previously found the cache before.

23: Cache After Dark - Find - 1 Point + (Difficulty * Terrain)
Log any physical cache that requires you to find the cache after dark or log any cache that you find after midnight and before 5:00am to claim this requirement. If the cache description states that the cache can only be completed after dark then your log must indicate that you followed the cache requirements. If you just find a cache after midnight and before 5:00am (and it is not a mandatory after dark cache) then your log must include photographic proof of the time that you completed the cache.

24: Earth Cache - Find or Hide - 6 Points Outright
Log an Earth Cache to claim this requirement or hide an Earth Cache to claim this requirement. Your log must conform to the requirements of the Earth Cache and cannot be claimed until the cache owner has approved your log on the Earth Cache. Be careful you don't run out of game time before the cache owner approves your log. This requirement is exempt from the rule that the date the cache was hidden must be prior to the start of the game.

25: The 4 Elements - Find - 1 Point + (Difficulty * Terrain)
Log any physical cache that has any of the words Earth, Wind, Fire or Water in the cache name.

26: Geocaching History Cache - Find - 1 Point + (Difficulty * Terrain)
Log any physical cache that has a historical relationship to geocaching to claim this requirement. It might be the oldest remaining cache in an area, the first cache in an area/state, the first maccamob cache ever placed, etc. You are encouraged to think laterally on this cache.

27: Outdoor Event - Host or Attend - 6 Points Outright
Host or attend an outdoor event to claim for this requirement. This requirement is exempt from the rule that the date the cache was hidden must be prior to the start of the game.

28: River Deep to Mountain High Cache (RD or MH) - Find - 2 Points + (Difficulty * Terrain)
Log any physical cache that has the letters RD or MH in the waypoint code in ANY order. The letters MH or RD can appear anywhere in the waypoint code. i.e.. They do not need to appear next to each other. GCMCHE qualifies, as would GC0RD0, GCDR00 and GCH1M2 or GCR22D.

29: Take a Drive in the Country - Find - 2 Points + (Difficulty * Terrain)
Log any physical cache that is more than 100km from your home location and you drove your car from your home base to get to the cache location. Get out there, see your countryside and enjoy the offerings that your country provides. Either mark your home co-ordinates in your GPS before your leave home and then when you get to the cache location, take a photo of your GPS showing the distance to "home", OR if you have home coordinates at Geocaching Australia, those will be used. Please indicate in your claim which method you would like the administrators to use. Bogus home coordinates (by more than a privacy margin) will be frowned upon.

30: Unloved Cache - Find - 2 Points + (Difficulty * Terrain)
Log any physical cache that has not been found in the preceding 180 days to claim this requirement.

31: Fancy Dress Cache - 2 Points + (Terrain * Difficulty)
Log any physical cache and have a photo taken of you at the cache where you are dressed in attire which directly relates to the theme of the cache. eg. If the cache describes pirates or refers to "treasure", then eye patches, a wooden leg, sword and parrot would be the type of attire. A historical cache about our diggers may have you in battle gear. A cache like Tower of Power might have you dressed as an electrical linesman or maybe a superhero. A is for Architect may have you dressed in a short sleeved shirt with a tie, glasses and pocket protector. Kiss the Bride would have you dressed in a wedding gown. Be creative with your theme. Do not just wear ordinary clothes and try to make the theme fit. This requirement is all about your creativity.
The most creative fancy dress claim will be determined by the game administrators and will be the recipient of the random prize.

32: Prolific cachers - 1 Point + (Terrain * Difficulty)
Log a physical cache which has been hidden by your states most prolific hider or finder.

Hide a large physical cache. For the purposes of the game a large cache is any cache equal to or larger than 5 gallons / 20 litres. Your cache may be listed at www.geocaching.com or www.geocaching.com.au and must conform to the rules and guidelines of the listing site including cache permanence. Your cache must be published prior to the conclusion of the game. This requirement is exempt from the rule that the date the cache was published must be prior to the start of the game.
Your claim for this requirement must have a log date on or after 1 June 2007.

34: Hide a large physical cache - 0 Points outright.
